Lean manufacturing is a methodology for manufacturing productivity. It's aim is primarily at the minimisation of waste within a manufacturing process and reducing material flow times.
Lean manufacturing, also known as simply "lean". Principles from Just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing and Toyota Production System (TPS) are also part of lean methodology.
